The 1st
Annual Lovitz-McCabe Midsummer’s Eve Celebration and Barbecue
Saturday, June 28th,
2008 @ 4 p.m.
Midsummer refers to
the period of time centered upon the summer solstice and the diverse
celebrations of it around the Northern Hemisphere.
Historically
Midsummer’s Day has been celebrated on the 24th of June.
Midsummer’s Eve – the
night before Midsummer’s Day is a time for fairies and magic according to
Gaelic traditions. It is also a time for telling the future and for discovering
your true love.
Please join Evelyn and
Michael as we start a new tradition in the Cape May area to celebrate the
beginning of the summer season.
